That was then; this is now.

Beginnings are difficult things--especially when they spawn from dubious endings. Take, for example, my last blog. What was then a living, growing, thing is now a relic of a bygone time. Still, I look at this new space as deeply indebted to that old one; although the product will most certainly be different, the process will be the same. The Bottom line: I need to write more, and I can think of no better way then to start here where my insane standards won't gag me, where my intellectual investment is more "occasional playmate" than "permanent partner," and where my opinion goes beyond that of a brain on a stick. Let's see if this paradox is productive...
